The brewery that introduced the world to Pilsner beer in 1842. It is a lager with a characteristic aroma of malt grains and a balanced caramel flavor obtained through triple mashing. The soft Pilsen water gives it a unique smoothness, while Žatec hops lend it a velvety bitterness. A lager that has become synonymous with the word beer.

A Czech 12° beer brewed with Pilsner malt and a touch of Viennese malt, hopped with the Czech Saaz Special and Saaz Comfort. A bitter yet wonderfully drinkable 12° beer brewed from a single mash.

Its finely tuned recipe delivers a traditional, pleasant bitterness, the rich aroma of Žatec hops, a nicely thick head, a beautiful straw colour. The lower malt content, in turn, gives it an interestingly light body. This lends the beer both freshness and excellent drinkability.
